Accounting Beyond Borders Film
Nonprofit: Accounting Beyond Borders
Founder: Courtney Weaver, CPA
Location: Lancaster, PA
Accounting Beyond Borders, based in Lancaster, PA, handles accounting for mission organizations so they can focus on ministry. Exodus produced a documentary that put a human face on behind-the-scenes work and brought in new donors.
The challenge. Accounting is vital to ministry but hard to make people feel. As a lean Christian nonprofit, Accounting Beyond Borders needed donors to see why their work matters, without the budget for a professional film.
What we built. Selected for the Freedom Film Initiative, Accounting Beyond Borders received a fully produced documentary. Exodus built the team, shaped the story with founder Courtney Weaver, CPA, and traveled to Panama to film 3 partner ministries and their leaders. The film was designed to work across live events, YouTube, and email.
$10,000+ in new annual donors — all discovered Accounting beyond borders through the film.
Being selected to receive a professional film from Exodus Creative Co was a game changer for Accounting Beyond Borders. As a lean Christian nonprofit, we would not otherwise have access to a resource of this caliber that profoundly illustrates the heart and impact of our mission. We are deeply grateful for this talented team, their collaboration, enthusiasm, and expertise in producing a film for us!

Exodus Creative Co found a way to take the stories written on our hearts for years of walking in ministry and bring them to life in film. We are truly blown away by how beautifully and authentically they captured our story and how deeply they cared about our mission and the people we serve in the process. It was more than a film for us - it was a timely and profound gift to our ministry and myself as a founder.
